Short description of culture
In addition to the building itself, the Church of San Juanes houses an interesting collection of panels, paintings, and sculptures from the 16th and 17th centuries.
The House of Culture, the permanent home of the municipal schools, regularly offers public exhibitions of painting, sculpture, and photography, as well as concerts, theater, and film screenings.
Music lovers shouldn't miss the Santa Cecilia concerts, the tabal i dolçaina (traditional Valencian drum and pipe) performances, or the nits d'albaes (traditional Valencian songs).
Scattered throughout the old town are numerous ceramic altarpieces of great interest.
In addition, visitors can admire recently created monuments and statues, such as the one depicting the bull of September 7th (Plaza 25 de Abril), the footballer José Claramunt (football field), and the tribute to the farmer (Paseo de la Constitución).
From the Roman castle of Sagunto or the Environmental Education Center (located in the Marjal dels Moros), passing by the Monastery of Puig de Santa María or the marina of La Pobla de Farnals, all the way to the City of Arts and Sciences, the Albufera Natural Park, or the new port of Valencia, everything is just minutes away for visitors to Puçol who seek relaxation but also want to enjoy cultural tourism.
