How to get there

Puçol, located between the sea and the mountains, is a town that exceeded 19,500 inhabitants in 2017

On the northern edge of the L'Horta Nord region lies Puçol, a town that captivates visitors with the harmony that permeates its streets, along with a certain Mediterranean flair and the friendliness of the local people. The motto“Puçol, between sea and mountains”It has been a distinctive feature of the municipality's image.

The landscapeThis is the first thing that surprises the accidental tourist, since the municipal area ranges from a mountainous area located inland, 48 meters above sea level, passing through the central orchard, completely flat where the cultivation of citrus fruits stands out, to the more than 2 kilometers of beach, the main tourist resource of the town, which for a decade has been bordered by a seafront promenade and by the breakwaters that protect the sand from the onslaught of the Mediterranean.

The municipal areaPuçol is located in the northernmost part of the L'Horta Nord region, bordering the Camp de Morvedre region, with the town center 18 kilometers from Valencia, the capital of the Autonomous Community. This number is somewhat arbitrary, as the town's area is 18.11 km², bordered to the south by the town of El Puig de Santa María, to the north by Sagunto, and to the east by the Mediterranean Sea.

The term hasthree urban centersInland, at the foot of the Sierra Calderona mountain range, lie three residential developments that share a boundary between Puçol and Sagunto (Alfinach, Los Monasterios, and Monte Picayo); the town center and industrial parks are located in the surrounding agricultural area; and Puçol beach is situated along the Mediterranean coast. Together, they currently have over 19,500 inhabitants.
